Privacy notice
Mintage Capital Corporation runs this portal so you can see your lease information and send us the documents your lease needs. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
- Your name, company name, email, mailing address and phone number
- Your lease details: equipment, payments, term, buyout and lease documents
- Documents you upload: insurance certificates and voided cheques or direct deposit forms
- Sign-in records, such as one-time codes and failed sign-in attempts, kept briefly for security
Why we use it
- To give you access to your lease information and documents
- To confirm your equipment is insured as your lease requires
- To set up and manage your lease payments
- To keep your account secure
We don't sell your information, and we don't use the portal for marketing.
Who handles it, and where
We use service providers to run the portal. Your information is stored and processed in the United States by:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Turso (database)
- Cloudflare (file storage)
- Resend (email delivery)
- HighLevel (our client management system)
They use it only to provide their services to us. While it's in the United States, it may be accessible to authorities there under US law.
How we protect it
Signing in takes your password and a one-time code emailed to you. Information travels over encrypted connections, uploaded files are stored privately, and only Mintage can view them.
How long we keep it
- Uploads we can't accept are deleted from the portal after 30 days.
- Insurance certificates are deleted 90 days after the lease ends.
- Voided cheques and direct deposit forms are deleted 90 days after your last lease ends.
We may keep copies in our business records where the law requires it.
